Quality

Quality at Techarsh begins with drawing review and incoming material verification. It continues through first-off approval, dimensional inspection, weld control, leak or pressure testing, surface preparation, coating checks, final inspection, identification and dispatch release. This process-based approach helps us deliver consistent products—not simply inspected products.

Internal treatment

Radiators are cleaned internally before the specified treatment. Depending on the approved customer requirement, Internal surface is cleaned with Pressurised Air to remove any hard particles and then solvent cleaning is done to ensure completely dust or any residue inside. Then internal surface is flushed with compatible insulating varnish or Hot Oil Resistant and transformer oil as per customer requirments.

External surface preparation and painting

External surfaces are degreased to remove oil, grease and contamination. Shot blasting is performed to achieve the required surface cleanliness and profile before coating. Painting systems may include zinc primer, zinc-rich primer, MIO, epoxy and polyurethane coats in the approved sequence, colour and dry-film thickness suitable for paint schemes like C3, C4, C5M, C5H, CX.

Testing and inspection

Radiators are checked for dimensions, workmanship, weld quality, leak integrity and coating requirements. The standard radiator integrity test is air pressure testing at 2 kg/cm² under water for 30 minutes, unless the approved customer specification requires a different procedure.

Dimensional inspection against approved drawing

Visual weld and workmanship inspection

Air pressure test under water

Surface-profile and cleanliness checks, where specified

Dry-film thickness measurement

Adhesion or pull-off testing, where specified

Dust-contamination and coating-finish checks

Final marking, quantity and packing verification
